Please don’t leave me alone to remember you You grow so fast that suddenly you are out the door. At times it felt like time dragged on through But looking back, your life was nothing but a blur Holding your small little body for the first time Looking into your large eyes and realizing you were mine. Watching you anxiously; afraid that you might break. Not knowing what to do when you cried was more than my heart could take. If you were sick, I didn’t sleep. If you were sad, I too would weep. Wedding vows if one allows ensnares you for life as husband and wife. Good luck if you get that far before you get hit by a car of emotions you never thought you would feel before that person puts them up for appeal. They'll say one thing and then take it back putting you on the defensive ready for attack. They'll trap you with their sweet speech and then move far from reach. No one should ever fall in love because it hurts when rejection falls from above like a grand piano in an old cartoon allowing this wretched life to end very soon.

I cannot be alone for it causes me grief. Please do not leave me to my own devices, For my tears and doubts are enough to make their own reef and my ears will be closed to everyones advices. I cannot stand it when you are away. I am afraid when I cannot feel you near, Especially in the bed where we used to lay Where you made me feel so dear. I think you may have taken my heart with you therefore leaving me with this pain in my chest That leaves me not knowing what to do Even though I know that you leaving was for the best. So please be quick in the things you study So that I may have you back with me.

Gods have mercy on my lonely heart That is slowly being torn apart. It has become a puzzle with many peices, Bleeding me out until my life ceases. Always alone even in a crowd. To feel pleasure is never allowed. I want only to please But it was just a tease. How could anyone love a broken toy Who's every pleasure was a ploy To tear away at my empty vessle With dangerous thoughts I must wrestle. A lot has changed.

So since my last update, a lot has happened. Got back together with that guy and got married and moved to Japan to be with him. I have my Bachelors in English and work as a volunteer librarian.

It's been too long since I updated this even though I doubt many of you care what I write here and probably won't read it because as one person once said, this is not facebook. This is not where we are supposed to tell people about what we are doing in the real world. I disagree with part of this statement. Yes this is not facebook but this is where we are supposed to be able to express opurselves through our different art forms. So here is my worthless update of me and my life. I have discovered that I am a New Formalist when it comes to writing becouse I love rhyme and am working on meter. I'm also about to be a senior at UNC at Pembroke. Also about to be working two jobs. I've been with the same guy for over a year and it is very serious. I've been staying with him thanks to the tornado but all that did was have me actually move my stuff there. We're supposed to be able to move back into our house in like two weeks. It's finals week at school and I cannot wait to be able to play video games again!!
