Sonnet of a Lonely Heart

I cannot be alone for it causes me grief.
Please do not leave me to my own devices
For my tears and doubts are enough to make their own reef
and my ears will be closed to everyone's advices.

I cannot stand it when you are away.
I am afraid when I cannot feel you near.
Especially in the bed where we used to lay.
Where you made me feel so dear.
I think you may have taken my heart with you
Therefore leaving me with this pain in my chest,
That leaves me not knowing what to do
Even though I know tht you leaving was for the best.

So please be quick in the things you study
So that I may have you back with me.
